Remnants of this colonial heritage are evident in the many old mountain cattlemen’s huts which dot the high plains. Places you may visit include Mount Bogong, Spion Kopje, Wallace’s Hut, Mt Nelse, Kelly’s and Fitzgerald’s Huts, the Jaithmathangs, and the many historic aqueducts.
