Comprised of a certified Geek (Tech Reck), a Gangster (Crazy Z), Philosopher (X Squared), Activist (Sexy Earth). Mixing Hip Hop, Rock, Club, Reggae music they have created some of the most inspiring music of the year. “Amazingly people around the world are finally coming together regardless of music preferences, nationality, color, socio-economic level and religion. And they’re not just joining to check out conscious music like ours, but they’re uniting to stop brutality, war, racism, hunger.”, says Sexy Earth the hottest female performer in America. And these are exactly some of the intriguing lyrics that are infused into Sir Mask’s new album: “Funky Peace”.
The entire group wears masks during shows, concerts, interviews and even during most rehearsals. X Squared states that the group is a mix of superheroes, while keeping their anonymity, since several members are semi-celebrities in various circles. And with members of diverse backgrounds like college degrees, movie and music awards,
School dropouts, of various religions, political affiliations and music styles, Sir Mask are hiding their faces but giving audiences more than they bargained for.
The group's resident lyrical master, X Squared said: “We taking street beats, classical sheets and throwing in Hip Hop, Rock, Club, Reggae flavor. All the time rocking the concerts and stages with lyrics that bring people together, not just to shake their booties, but to do their duties, work together for Earth and the children.”
Sir Mask also have songs that are strictly get up and dance jams, with others that are love songs, so they balance the best of all worlds. “We gat gangster, we gat geeks, we gat geniuses, all that is like our flavor, all the best of the best” laughed Crazy Z, the resident gangster, with the street credibility to prove his history and lyrical content. Tech Reck, the quietest member of Sir Mask, say little in interviews, but on stage, Tech Reck’s musicianship is world class.
