Are you planning a wedding for 2010? Are you dreaming of getting married in a spot so special, so beautiful that your guests will be talking about it for years to come?
If that describes you, it’s time to enter a unique Castle Dream Wedding Contest sponsored by Lakes Region Bride Magazine, Castle in the Clouds and a group of select wedding professionals.
“We are asking the brides-to-be who enter to write an essay telling us why they want to be a Castle bride,” explains Lakes Region Bride editor Kathi Caldwell Hopper. “We want those who enter to be creative, to really express themselves. This is an incredible opportunity to win a Castle wedding – what bride wouldn’t want to win such a great prize?”
The wedding professionals participating in the contest include divine inspirations!
“A panel of wedding experts will meet in mid October to go over all the entries and pick a winner. We will announce the winner at the end of our Castle Wedding Affair bridal show on Sunday, October 25.
“The show is very popular each year and offers a chance for brides to enjoy a day of pampering including a wonderful bridal brunch on the patio catered by Hampshire Culinary and Event Planning, live music, cake tastings, bridal and mother-of-the bride fashions, instant updos and makeup consultations with the Galleria Salon and Day Spa of Laconia, and many wedding vendors who will be on hand to talk with brides about special wedding plans,” Hopper says.
In the challenging economy of the past year, couples getting married have to be creative to plan a wedding on a budget, but it can be done, according to Hopper. Lakes Region Bride’s wedding shows help those planning weddings with fun and creative ways to put on a memorable and beautiful wedding.
“We thought the grand prize of a wedding at Castle in the Clouds would be very uplifting. Facing the challenges of the economy can be daunting, and we want to give something really special to a bride who is willing to put her heart into writing an essay about why she wants to be a Castle bride,” she says.
“What a grand prize!” echoes Castle in the Clouds function coordinator Jessica Keefe. “We are happy to participate in this wonderful prize. Each wedding we have at the Castle – and we do many each season – is special to us, but this will be something extra special for everyone involved.”
“The wedding professionals participating in the contest really know the wedding business and they make dreams come true for couples every week, year round, when they bring their expertise to weddings,” concludes Hopper.
