Advanced Test Equipment announces availability of the Varian VSMR15 mass spectrometer leak detector

The state-of-the-art mass spectrometer leak detector and vacuum system by Varian provides powerful capability, enabling a broad range of test methods for specific applications, including industrial process, power generation, high energy physics, semiconductor production, small parts manufacturing and general research & development.

Superior pumping characteristics such as high inlet pressure tolerance and split flow capability deliver fast response and clean-up times, thereby maximizing production throughput. High test port pressure allows for detection of large leaks, while a 12-range MDL (sensitivity) meets the most stringent leak test requirements. Wireless remote control with an operating range of 100 meters (328 feet) enables single-person leak testing of even the largest systems.

With simple and intuitive two-button operation, the VSMR15 allows for intermittent use without excessive training requirements. Not only is this unit easy-to-use, but the mobility of the two-wheel cart option makes the leak detection process simple to carry out and easy to transport from one application to another.
