Niskayuna, NY – Employees at the personal injury law firm of Martin, Harding & Mazzotti have paid the price for comfort this summer. The firm offered employees dress-down Fridays during the summer months in return for a minimum donation of five dollars each week to a charity selected by the firm. Martin, Harding & Mazzotti sent its July collection of $460 to the Double H Ranch in Lake Luzerne, NY and $345 to the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York for August.
“Everyone wins in this type of situation,” said Paul B. Harding, managing partner of Martin, Harding & Mazzotti. “The two foundations continue to provide our area with truly wonderful services, and we get to loosen our collars for the day. A worthwhile combination if you ask me.”
The Double H Ranch, co-founded by Paul Newman, provides specialized programs and year-round support for children and their families dealing with life-threatening illnesses.
“We would like to thank all of the partners and employees of Martin, Harding & Mazzotti for their generous gift to the Double H Ranch,” said Victor Hershaft, Chairman of the Double H Board of Directors. “The campers and their families will certainly put this donation to good use.”
The Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York continues to help feed the poor in our communities by collecting large food donations from local businesses and manufacturers and distributing them to charitable agencies.
“The Regional Food Bank is extremely grateful for the donation from Martin, Harding & Mazzotti,” said Mark Quandt, executive director for the Regional Food Bank of NENY. “We are happy to accept their gift which will help us continue to feed our hungry neighbors.”
Martin, Harding & Mazzotti chose the Double H Ranch and the Regional Food Bank as the recipients of the dress-down Fridays program in their continued effort to support local charities and foundations.
