Alternative and Renewable Energy Forum in the Pocono Mountains

Pennsylvania Power & Light will be hosting an Energy Forum at the Wallenpaupack Environmental Learning Center in Hawley PA on Saturday, October 3, 2009. The outreach program is titled " The Next Step".

Pennsylvania Power & Light will be hosting an Energy Forum at the Wallenpaupack Environmental Learning Center in Hawley PA on Saturday, October 3, 2009- 10:00 am to 2 pm.  The outreach program is titled " The Next Step".    The workshop session with presenters and Q/A sessions will feature local citizens, non-profit organizations, businesses, and local/regional leaders to provide information and outreach related to alternative/renewal energy, rebates and grant programs, energy star appliances, and other government incentives.  

The focus of the session is taking "The Next Step".  If you have already switched to compact fluorescent light bulbs, installed a programmable thermostat, and got rid of some or all of your energy vampires and want to know what to do next - This program is for you.  The event is free and is being sponsored by PPL and the Sustainable Energy Education and Development Support.
