Churches Losing Money Find Salvation in New Mindset of Fundraising

With tithing and charitable donations on the decline, to the tune of 10%-90% less than normal, churches need new ways to raise money. Marketing Pedagogy founder Andy Greider has developed turnkey 4-6-8-10 (and other custom level) week programs.

Sept. 29, 2009 - PRLog -- We all know that churches are up against a wall in the down economy.  Congregation members have lost jobs, been furloughed and taken cuts - and that has decreased tithing and donations.  Some churches are now looking at staff cuts (often of veteran members of the church office) - or at having to let go of programs they have coveted for quite some time.  Families that make up the congregation have had to cut back on travel plans, home costs and more.

There is now an offering that helps alleviate many of these issues - and makes your church successful, prosperous and well positioned in the "fund raising world."  We can also help your congregation to do more in the coming years than they otherwise could afford to do.

Can you imagine if you could offer, for a donation of $60 or more, a 20 page book full of vacation offers?  Seems like the perfect gift, right?  Seems like a better fundraiser than wrapping paper, magazines or candy, right?  Time to stop imagining - and start realizing the potential of what you have in front of you.

We've had some amazing success with this program - and we've had a few less than expected results, to be honest and upfront.  When the program doesn't work is often dependent on the congregation and the participation and the communication.  We give you everything you need - except the enthusiasm, drive and passion to help your church grow, thrive and survive.

In a little more than 8 weeks, a church in north Georgia will raise over $250,000.  In another program, in the middle of America's Heartland, another church is on track to bring in twice that in 10 weeks.  Neither church is huge (between 3000-3500 members, with about 800-900 families) - nor small.  However, they both approached this very differently.  We're happy to consult with you to help you attain best results for your cause and your church.

How Our Program Works:

Our Church Fundraising Programs run 4, 6, 8 or 10 weeks.

They do require some labor and effort on the part of the church - but there is so much information and material provided, it will feel like this becomes almost effortless (many hands make light work!)  Much of the differences between the programs come from the length of the time on each stage, excepting the 10 week which features a separate enticement.  We may suggest, depending on time of year, a shuffling of the order of these stages...we'll let you know when you write in.

There are three main stages:

Church Within The Church (or Charity Starts At Home) - the solid foundation to the program which allows members to begin to understand and enjoy the offerings - and allows the church to give to whatever facet of the church they care to.

Feet On The Street (or Girl Scout Cookie Style) - the chance for your church's youth and family to go out and get 5 books per week from community neighbors, businesses and more.  Orders are taken on a sheet, checks collected and then product ordered and delivered in bulk (like the Girl Scouts do.)  Each child picks their own "cause within the church" - and collects for that.

We incentivize the children who go out and really work on this - first to 100 donations collected gains a $250 movie card.  First to 250 donations gets an Ipod Touch (second and third to 250 get an Ipod Nano.)  First to 500 gets a $2500 scholarship bond - and second gets a $1000 bond.  First to 1000 - gets a $10,000 scholarship bond.  Second through fifth all would get $5000 bonds each.

Ultra-Tithing (or the Power of Leverage) - Your church needs all the assistance it can possibly receive.  By taking this to the businesses represented in your congregation - as an employee gift - (and we show you JUST how to do it) - you can gain a HUGE influx of funding from that portal as well.  Here, either the "entire church" or "specific areas" are fine to donate to.

And in the ten week, other offerings are made available - from golf tournaments to spiritual life coaching programs - that are other ways to continue funding.  Find out more today at:
