Comedian Derrick Ellis Stars In The New Urban Docudrama Film Hollywood Vixens, Opens October 9!

PRLog (Press Release) - Sep. 29, 2009 - Comedian Derrick Ellis provides the comedy relief in the Film.  This is Mr. Ellis first starring role in a motion picture.  We ask how did it feel to be a featured comedian/actor in the movie?  Mr. Ellis replied "It's a blessing from God!"  The movie showcases Derrick doing his unique comedy style in this must see urban Film.  Mr. Ellis has been performing stand-up comedy for 21 years, however, he got this role when the director (Melvin Issac) saw him performing in Starbucks Coffee House.  Mr. Ellis had a production inside Starbucks called Derrick Ellis's Comedy and Coffee!  Melvin offered Derrick the job on the spot!
