I recently opened a French bistro in Astoria and like any new business owner I’m trying to promote my business the best I can. I took the liberty of writing a small introduction of my restaurant hoping to get your interest:
Astoria is welcoming a new French Restaurant: Bistro Les Minots
Opened on the 5th of March, Bistro Les Minots is a warm and cozy French Bistro located on 30th Avenue between 47th and 48th streets.
The joint owners, respectively from Paris and Marseille, hope to transport you to Paris while adding the warmth of the French Riviera. Our menu takes the better of these two beautiful regions of France so as to satisfy all tastes and desires at very affordable prices. The inviting front dining room coupled with the warm and romantic back room, provides the perfect atmosphere for any occasion, personal or corporate.
We serve all the traditional bistro classics from Escargots, Frog Legs, Onion Soup and Steak Tartare to the Croque Monsieur, the Magret of Duck, the Coq Au Vin and last but not least, le Steak au Poivre. Oh! I almost forgot we also make our own Orange Wine that you will be able to taste with our Crème Brule, Profiteroles or Crepe Suzette.
Our A La Carte Menu is served Monday through Friday from 12 pm to 11 pm, Saturday from 5 pm to 11 pm and Sunday from 5 pm to 10 pm. The Brunch Menu, A La Carte or $13.95 Prix Fixe including an entrée, a drink and coffee or tea, is offered Saturdays & Sundays from 11 am to 4:30 pm.
We also serve a $16.95 Lunch Prix Fixe Monday through Friday from 11 am to 4 pm and a $19.95 Dinner Prix Fixe 7 day a week from 5 to 10 pm.
We offer a Monday night special, “All You Can Eat Mussels & Fries” starting at 5 pm for only $19.95. You have the choice among 4 different types:
- Les Moules Marinières, Steamed mussels with garlic, shallots & parsley in a white wine sauce,
- Les Moules Dijonnaises:
- Les Moules Provençales:
- Les Moules Marocaines: Steamed mussels with tomatoes, chick peas, spicy lamb sausages & Moroccan spices. We hope you try all of them.
Special events will be organized on a monthly basis. If that's not enough, you'll be able to enjoy all of our dishes at home any day of the week with our free delivery service.
