By: Century 21 M & M Real Estate “This acquisition adds over 2,000 sales and brings our projected annual total to over 8,500 transactions,” Larry Matos, company president, said six of the new offices were purchased from Century 21 Distinctive, owned by Linda Green and Lauralee Ensign. The pair will join M&M with Green as sales manager and Ensign named chief operating officer. More than 100 Realtors and staff are part of the new offices, located at West Sacramento, Dixon, Vacaville, Fairfield, Green Valley and Rio Vista. In addition, M&M also recently acquired Century 21 AmeriPro in Los Banos. Formerly owned by Rudy Trevino, the 923 W. Pacheco Blvd. office has 15 Realtors and staff. M&M, established by Melo and Matos in 1994, has grown to 20 offices and more than 700 Realtors and staff in 20 locations throughout San Joaquin, Stanislaus, Merced, Madera, Fresno and Sacramento counties. Oakdale-based M&M is not yet done expanding and believes the financial climate is ideal for continued growth. “We’re now working on acquiring another five independent offices,” Melo said. “Like real estate, the opportunity is when the market is at the low end, not the peak.
