"RostaMan Pro Football" helps iPhone and iPod touch users identify NFL players while at the game or watching on television. Full rosters and schedules for all NFL teams are included in the app and displayed in their respective team colors. A special "Find My Game" feature determines if you are at or near the stadium on game day and displays both teams' rosters for that game.
"RostaMan Pro Football basically gives you a self-updating game program for every NFL game you'll watch all year, either in person or on TV" said Darren Manning, creator of the app. "If you're at the stadium, 'Find My Game' allows you to touch one button and your iPhone or iPod touch finds your location and displays the rosters for your game."
Users wishing to access a different game or roster may search by team name or schedule. The complete 2009-10 NFL schedule is incorporated in the app, and will be updated when playoff games and the Super Bowl match-ups are determined.
RostaMan Pro Football displays name, number, height, weight, position, date of birth, years pro, and college attended for all NFL players and is displayed in the respective team's colors. Updates to rosters and schedules will be provided for the duration of the 2009-10 NFL season.
