PRESS RELEASE
Along with the weekend foliage you can see some history. On October 3, & 4, you can walk through history from ancient times to the modern day with historical reenactors on the grounds of the Matterhorn Inn on Route 100 in West Dover, Vermont. Reenactors will perform their skills from cooking and baking to sword play and cannon firing. These historical enthusiasts and story tellers will display countless historical items from 10:00 am each day until 5:00pm on Saturday and 2:00 pm on Sunday – all in the shadow of Mount Snow, Vermont. The event will include a clothing review, weapons firing demonstrations, plus many individual demonstrations in the authentic camps from school teacher’s class room to the drill sergeant’s parade ground. There will be merchants vending historical and nostalgic items, as well as books and there will be an on site food concession. Fun for the whole family. Children under 6 years of age admitted FREE. Admission fees are $5.00 adult and $3.00 for children over 6.
