Mr. Keith Bolden, “President of FahTru Media” who seems to speak now for Global Broadcasting Company, states… (Piper’s Pics TV Shifts Blame for Taking Talent’s Money – 09-15-2009), “GBC has provided opportunities to independent producers from all backgrounds, persuasions, and cultures that typically would not even get in the door of the major networks. These home grown producers now have an opportunity to present their shows to a global audience.”
It should be easy enough, therefore, for Mr. Bolden to tell us exactly what day and what time any of his programs are being broadcast on GBC’s stand-alone channels, “America Unleashed” or “Total Hip Hop TV”, via cable, fiber or satellite anywhere in the known universe! The truth, Mr. Bolden, is that a simple Google will show the astounding number of reputable, hard-working independent producers who were duped by this fiasco called Global Broadcasting Company aka Global Broadcasting & Syndication, Inc. aka Music Media Enterprises Europe Ltd aka Media International. The truth, Mr. Bolden, is that “America Unleashed”, “Total Hip Hop TV” nor any of the other stand-alone channels GBC acquired content for, have broadcast carriage of any kind under that stand-alone channel branding… anywhere. Sounds to us like you need to leave that “home grown” alone!
The truth, Mr. Bolden, is that Piper’s pics was contracted as “web-based, user-generated”
content, and was accepted for broadcast as such, it was never intended to be slick, phony, ultra-produced, commercial drivel. Music Media founder Henk van Meer said, in June, 2008 “We're very excited about this show; it fits in perfectly with the type of unique, interesting and uniquely American content that we’re highlighting on our channels.” The truth, Mr. Bolden, is GBC directly requested Pipers Pics to continue to provide content and promotional creatives, at their own expense, over and above the five seasons delivered. The truth is, Mr. Bolden, GBC had every opportunity to honestly notify the producers that they were dropping the show, but instead chose to string the producers along with promised commitments to prime time slots (Daily 6:30 PM) which, since there are no ‘channels’
on the air, have never materialized. The truth, Mr. Bolden, is that Pipers has never exploited anyone or charged anyone a dime to “be in productions to be aired on GBC”. Just as the LA Marathon charges a fee to participate, as do most of the modeling showcases, and even the battle of the bands down at the neighborhood bar, so Pipers Pics has a small participation fee, which GBC was well aware of when they licensed the program in the first place, and had you done your homework, Mr. Bolden, you’d have discovered the truth, that most of it goes to a NPO that promotes performing arts in the local community. What terrible people they must be.

however professionals know that often this is not the nature of the process” The truth, Mr. Bolden, is that Kabel Kiosk began loading content on Eutelsat’s new bird as of April 15, 2009, with a 60 day window for launch. Up until June 12, 2009 Kabel Kiosk was promoting the addition, as stand-alone channels, of “AU” and “THHTV” to their line up both on their website and in the media. As of June 16, 2009, any and all trace or mention of either channel or GBC had been removed from Kabel Kiosk’s website and their media. The truth, Mr. Bolden, is that Kabel Kiosk was ready, GBC was not.

If GBC were truly professional, they wouldn’t hide behind a lackey playing flamer games in the press, they’d speak for themselves. Mr. Bolden, you were not present when GBC entered our licensing agreement, and based on your command of the English language…”I have the contracts and there is nothing nowhere to valid such an outrageous claim.” I seriously doubt you were allowed to sit in any conference with educated members of the Bar and their clients; besides, if you are claiming to “have” any “contracts”
, other than your own, then the truth, Mr. Bolden, is that you are exposing GBC to actionable liability for violation of confidentiality.
The truth is, Mr. Bolden, you don’t have any programming airing on any stand-alone channel branded “America Unleashed” or “Total Hip Hop TV, as you promote on your website. You appear either a fool or a fraud; regardless, your prattle falls on deaf ears.
The truth, Mr. Bolden, is that we agree with Pipers producers and caution any content provider considering an affiliation with GBC. In our business, ‘professional’
is not defined by how much money you hustle, or how slick your production is, or what piece of paper you wave in people’s faces, ‘professional’
is defined by how you live up to what you’ve committed to.
To mitigate any further damage to our professional reputation, we have divested ourselves of any and all affiliation with GBC and its associates. We are not alone.
In short, Mr. Bolden, we have already wasted more time and energy on this issue than rank amateurs like you and your cohorts at GBC deserve. Fah tru.
