Ten years in the making, Zuplo is the creation of Rex Weston, a pioneer in the field of email stationery design and technology. According to Weston, Zuplo.com is distinguished by three things:
1. Quality of Design: These artistic and unique backgrounds have been created for people with an eye for design and beauty, redefining what email stationery can be.
2. Breadth of Content: With over 330 content categories ranging from poodles to motorcycles, red wine to African art, and of course birthdays and holidays, anyone should be able to easily find numerous designs that appeal to them.
3. Ease of Use: Users simply click a button on the Zuplo website to copy the background, open a new message or reply in whatever email program they use, and paste the background in.
Everything on the site is free, and premium options are available. Once registered, users can manage their own collection of designs with the “favorites”
By installing the optional Zuplo software, users have access to their collection of favorites directly from within their email program. With just two clicks, users insert their favorite Zuplo backgrounds into any new email message or reply. The free version of the software provides access to your top five favorite designs. The premium version, which costs $8.95 per year, gives you instant access to all your saved favorites.
The majority of Zuplo’s designs are based on posters (available for purchase through the Zuplo website). Weston explains, “As an affiliate reseller of posters, Zuplo’s hands-on approach encourages email users to interact with the artwork, increasing exposure and interest. It’s just a really fun way for people to become familiar with this beautiful collection of poster art.”
