Warwick Ventures, the venture capital group launched by Jeffery Samuelson, has been looking toward the private client brokerage business as a way of securing greater continuity for their growing client base. The company, which started out as a venture capital firm has developed a strong reputation as clients flock to their unique brokerage concept that gives clients access to private and public deal flow that is usually restricted for large institutional traders.
“We still work closely with our institutions”
The statement from Mr. Samuelson has led to speculation that the company may be working on a deal with one or more of their competitors. Since the economic fallout and the collapse of so many small players there have been a number of private client institutions that have struggled for one reason or another. Now that the economies of the world leaders are turning around, the time would seem to be right for consolidation.
