Unique Line of Children's Stories Released for Vacation Bible School

Sept. 26, 2009 - PRLog -- Our Father’s Productions/Elohim Books (OFPEB)  announces the release of a new website called Vacation Bible School Children’s Stories offering the Yeshua’s Lessons in Life Series.” A series of four Christian picture storybooks that are Bible lessons for kids in story format.

Howell, MI, 9/24/09 - Joseph Zabrosky, author and founder of OFPEB, is pleased to announce that the Vacation Bible School community will have more choices for novel material that can serve multiple purposes.

“Vacation Bible School Children’s Stories are essentially Bible lessons for kids in story format,” according to Zabrosky. “They serve a dual purpose. They’re the perfect little picture storybooks to leave laying around the Vacation Bible School environment for a child to pick up and read for entertainment-sake. At the same time, they’re profound enough to build an entire Bible lesson around.”

Vacation Bible School Children’s Stories were designed on the surface to allure children via beautiful art depicting cute animal and children characters. In fact, one of the stories was illustrated by award-winning artist, Michael Glenn Monroe. Inside each story is a Biblical lesson that’s summarized on the final page of the book. When the reader moves to the back cover he/she gets to read a personalized letter from the main character explaining what he learned on his journey. At the end of the letter the main character relates his lesson in life to pertinent Bible scriptures. Thus, the “Yeshua’s Lessons in Life Series.”

The books have a cinematic feel to them in that one can easily see how these stories could be turned into a child’s regularly scheduled Saturday morning cartoon. In fact, this is something Zabrosky looks to do in the future, and it wouldn’t be any surprise being his background is in the entertainment industry working for movie star Kevin Costner at the pinnacle of his career during “Dances With Wolves.” He then decided to build an entertainment house for God, founding Our Father’s Productions. He’s been a writer, producer, director, editor, and Nationwide Learning’s first Visiting Author over the last thirteen years.  He presently chairs Christian Media Associations Director/Producer seat.
