Author Kevin Gerard of Conor and the Crossworlds fame is writing a story on TextNovel called, "Trapped in My School Locker," about a sixth grade boy who gets stuffed into his locker by eighth graders the first day of school. After a brief period of worry, the boy decides to have fun with his school mates. He derives all kinds of tricks to play on them and has the time of his life.
This contest gives students a chance to write the story they've carried in their heads for years. It's easy, too, all they have to do is write a chapter every week, only 140 words. The winning story will be judged on creativity, basic writing mechanics (spelling, etc.), and story appeal.
The author of the winning story will receive signed copies of the first four books in the popular Conor and the Crossworlds fantasy adventure series.
Contest runs from October 1 to November 30
Open to all Elementary, Middle, and High School students
Story must have at least eight 140 word chapters
Story must be written on the TextNovel website - http://www.textnovel.com/
A minimum number of entries must be received by November 30
Have fun and remember, write with abandon!
