About QTRCO, Inc: QTRCO manufactures virtually indestructible actuators for the World's
Most Demanding 1/4-turn Applications.Recognized in the industry as a leader in patented, cutting-edge actuator technology, with products providing several years of maintenance free service.
CEO Ed Holtgraver believes, "our products should never fail, and should not require maintenance or field service. Costs generally dictate that larger actuators should be of scotch yoke design as high torques are obtained with a relatively low cost mechanism. Ed knew "the world does not need another scotch yoke actuator." Finally, he hit upon a design concept that "eliminates the unbalanced weight and internal side loading forces in typical scotch yoke designs." Ed's design even warranted a new category name. QTRCO developed the "FLAT YOKE"© actuator having all of the benefits of our proven Rack & Gear™. This design offers cost and performance benefits far superior to antiquated scotch yoke products.
