Latin Frenzy
Fundraising for La Vida’s Latin American projects
Charity Event to be held at Floridita in October
La Vida is thrilled to announce its annual fundraiser at Floridita on Tuesday, 13th October 2009. “Latin Frenzy” is being organized by La Vida, and all proceeds will be used as ongoing support to all their projects in Latin America. This year the event will be hosted by Floridita, London’s west end venue which exudes the heat and atmosphere of Latin America.
Latin Frenzy will be the ultimate Latin American party experience, brimming with culture, rhythm and entertainment. The music firing up Floridita on the night will be an exciting Cuban band, handpicked by Floridita’s music panel and exclusively flown in from Havana for this unique occasion. Latin Frenzy will showcase a spectacular salsa performance by world champion winner Janet Fuentes and Rafael DelBusto, tango by performance Luis Rodriguez and partner and a Brazilian percussion and samba by London School of Samba.
Fundraising on the night will include a raffle and silent auction featuring a 1988 ‘The Cream of Eric Clapton’ Gold Disk presented by Polydor records, donated by his manager, two return TAM flights to Rio, two return Virgin flights to New York and two return Iberia flights to Madrid.
If you’d like to immerse yourself in Latin culture and support projects in Latin America at the same time don’t miss this great party! Participate as a dancer, performer or spectator and awake yourself to the sounds & movement of Latin America!
Tickets to Latin Frenzy will cost a minimum of £10.50 of per person (50p admin charge) and can be purchased at www.justgiving.com/
