SCC celebrates National Recycling Awards by giving away free Green IT boxes

Europe's largest independent technology provider has announced that it will give away 100 free Green IT boxes in the run up to the 2009 National Recycling Awards.

Celebrating its own nomination for the Electrical and Electronic Equipment Recycler of the Year Award, SCC will provide the first 100 UK businesses to apply, via its website (http://www.scc.com/greenitbox), with a free pallet-sized Green IT box, which allows organisations to dispose of their redundant IT stock quickly, simply and in full compliance with current British & European regulations. Billed as being the most efficient high-tech environmental solution on the market today, 90% of all materials, components and packaging placed in the box are recycled, producing zero landfill.

Normally retailing at £180, SCC's Green IT boxes are delivered to customers and placed in their required location. An all-inclusive service, with no hidden extras – one single price includes delivery, collection and recycling charges - clients are guaranteed full compliance with all regulations and receive official certificates on completion of the process.
