The 2009 Australian Rules Football Grand Final is like the Superbowl of this incredible sport, with millions of viewers from all over the world tuning in every year. Entry is $10, with proceeds going towards helping the Bombers get to the National Championships in Mason, Ohio on October 10 and 11. With over 40 clubs in the US, Aussie Rules has gained a foothold in this country and continues to grow every year. The Bombers are currently ranked #3 in the USAFL, and are going to the Nationals with a serious chance at the title.
Aussie expats, friends, family and curious Americans are all welcome to join the party and experience the spectacle that is the AFL Grand Final. The game will be played at the holy grail of Australian sporting venues, the Melbourne Cricket Ground, an amazing stadium that has the capacity to hold over 100,000 fans.
