New Israel Media to Offer Free Online Stream of The Compelling Story of Judaism's Mahatma Gandhi

Sept. 24, 2009 - PRLog -- New Israel Media will be enabling a stream of the full feature-length documentary, One of the 36, free of charge during the time of introspection, repentance and renewal in the Jewish calendar.

The movie “One of the 36” is the story of a rabbi and an intellectual of a caliber unequalled to this day, describing the life of a true saint while emphasizing that every human being, regardless of religious inclination, may achieve this same lofty spiritual fulfillment.

Jewish tradition believes that every generation includes 36 righteous people. Rabbi Aryeh Levin (March 22, 1885 - March 28, 1969) was such a righteous person that he was assumed to be "one of 36".
