Brady, a D.C. native who lives in Prince George's County, the setting of her new novel, says she is often asked if the book is based on her personal experiences. Brady works for a major government contracting firm and is an active real estate agent with Exit Realty. She's an alumnus of the University of the District of Columbia and University of Maryland University College, earning a B.A. in Economics and M.B.A., respectively. She lives just outside of D.C. with her son, William.
