Based on the belief that maximum reimbursement can best be achieved through full integration of the technical, clinical, and legal aspects of claims management, the company has developed a family of services to help hospitals convert receivables to cash. These services include Receivables Management, Post Payment Review, Denials Management, Eligibility Services and Clinical Auditing.

Advanced Reimbursement Management was started in 1990 as “Pinson and Associates, Inc.” by Patty Pinson, a registered nurse with over 25 years of clinical experience. Patty founded the company based on the belief that integrating clinical expertise into the revenue cycle would enhance hospital reimbursement. Becoming Advanced Reimbursement Management in 1996, the company’s focus expanded to include a full range of services related to the AHCCCS program and the company quickly became identified as “Arizona’s AHCCCS Experts.” In offering its AHCCCS related services, Advanced Reimbursement Management has benefited from its long-standing professional association with Gammage & Burnham, the Phoenix law firm widely known for its expertise in AHCCCS and hospital reimbursement matters.

In August of 2008, Advanced Reimbursement Management announced its new partnership with the private equity investment firm, Waud Capital Partners (www.waudcapital.com). Through Waud Capital’s acquisition, Advanced Reimbursement benefits from their extensive experience growing health care service companies and from their industry relationships.   ARM is also pleased to keep its strong relationship with Gammage & Burnham in place. Recently, Advanced Reimbursement Management applied for and was selected to become a Preferred Vendor provider of AHCCCS related revenue cycle services for Arizona hopsitals who are memebrs of Arizona Healthcare and Hospital Association. ARM has been carefully pre-screened to ensure they offer top value and service in the healthcare arena. As a Preferred Vendor, ARM is well-qualified to help our members meet important needs related to Medicaid revenue cycle services.
