MIAMI, Fla – The Association for Women in Communications South Florida Chapter (AWC) and Saks Fifth Avenue Boca Raton will host a fashion-forward Tweetup networker and cocktail party in the Contemporary Department on Wednesday, September 30, 2009 from 6-8 p.m. The event is open and free for members and non-members.
Patrick Barbanes, a new media expert, will fuel the conversation with a brief opening presentation on social media and personal branding. In addition to Mr. Barbanes’ “food for thought,” attendees will enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres courtesy of Saks Fifth Avenue Boca Raton. The event will kickoff Saks Fifth Avenue’s WANT IT! campaign, celebrating fall’s most coveted trends. Attendees will enjoy a live DJ and fashion presentation displaying cutting-edge looks that dominated fall’s runway shows.
