Send a chill up your spine this Halloween season

With more than a century of haunted history and ghostly legends about bank robbers, ladies of the night, eccentric hotel guests and unfortunate train accidents, Flagstaff has earned a reputation as one of northern Arizona’s most haunted cities.

FLAGSTAFF, AZ - With more than a century of haunted history and ghostly legends about bank robbers, ladies of the night, lost and forbidden loves, eccentric hotel guests and unfortunate train accidents, Flagstaff has earned a reputation as one of northern Arizona’s most haunted cities.

To share this rich, colorful and eerie past with guests, the Flagstaff Convention and Visitors Bureau will offer walking tours of “Haunted Flagstaff” every Friday and Saturday, October 2 through October 24 at 3:00 p.m., 5:15 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. And at 3:00 p.m. on October 30. (Please note: There will not be a tour on October 31.) The tour is free and open to the public. They will begin at the Flagstaff Visitor Center in the historic train station located at One E. Route 66. Reservations required, call 928-774-9541, if you dare.

Take a stroll through Flagstaff’s paranormal past. Visit the Orpheum Theater where the balcony specter and bathroom poltergeist roam, the Weatherford Hotel where a mysterious floating woman haunts the Zane Grey Ballroom and the Hotel Monte Vista where a phantom bellboy waits to offer guests room service.
