Energy Efficient Backlit LED Light Box at UGG®Australia Outlet Store
EcoTek Lighting has installed a high performance, energy efficient Direct Backlit LED Array light box at the new UGG®Australia Outlet Store in Cabazon, CA. The enormous custom tension graphic light box measures 144” wide x 87” high, and uses Direct Backlit LED Array technology with dimming control. The heavy-duty, edgeless extruded aluminum frame allows for virtually 100% graphic visibility. The digitally printed tensioned fabric graphic is specifically designed and finished for use with the proprietary tensioned fabric extrusion used in the construction of this light box.
The energy saving light box uses Direct Backlit LED Array technology. The unique dimming power supply controls the 11,664 LEDs in the grid. The innovative leading-edge light box can be controlled instantly from 0 to 100% brightness. LEDs are solid-state light engines that last from 50,000 to 100,000 hours, compared to fluorescent lamps that only last from 8,000 to 20,000 hours. LED illuminated light boxes provide up to 70% greater energy efficiency than fluorescent light boxes and enable users to qualify for energy and tax rebates. EcoTek’s Direct Backlit LED Array technology fully illuminates the stretch fabric graphic from the back using an evenly distributed array of 11,664 LEDs. This delivers brighter, more evenly distributed illumination of the light box graphic, while requiring a fraction of the energy required by fluorescent lighting.

They are fully recyclable at end-of-life, and contain no heavy metals or other hazardous components.
