PRLog (Press Release) - Sep. 24, 2009 - I was performing at a wedding last week and curiousity prompted me to pop my head into the wedding going on in the adjacent room.  A "hi-end" DJ was the leader of this "boringfest" complete with minimal equipment and the personality of a goat(If you are a goat reading this-my apologies to you).  This "hi-end" DJ seemed to be staring off into space and not surveying the crowd.  As a matter of fact, it was almost as if he was a piece of human furniture fitting in the beautiful decorations of the day.  A human musical prop doing nothing more than hitting a couple of buttons on his computer.  Welcome to the hi-end world of DJ'ing.  Will somebody pass me another John Tesh album!

I only popped in for 30 seconds and I was bored to death....I can only imagine how this guy's wife feels.  However, alot of DJ's like this get hired every weekend under the guise of "hi-end" entertainment.  I once went to "hi-end" restaurant where I was served a piece of steak the size of a quarter.  After I devoured the "filet of hunger", I promptly asked myself if "hi-end" was all it was cracked up to be-before going to Burger King.  It wasn't that the steak was bad...I was unfortunately still hungry.  DJ Comatose may be a nice person, but not quite the personality to get your guests enthused and up and dancing.
