“Free Website” Seminar A Huge Success in Southfield, Michigan

Sept. 24, 2009 - PRLog -- Detroit, MI -- Experts Mark Maupin and Susan Carter take “FREE” to the next level for aspiring – and experienced internet marketers.  The hands-on workshop “Website On A Shoestring” met with rave reviews from those business owners and internet students that attended this all day seminar in Southfield, Michigan, on Saturday, Sept. 19th.  

The workshop consisted of two parts.  In Part 1, Mr. Maupin demonstrated the power of keywords and keyword phrases in driving traffic to your business.  Several free internet tools were used to show how to find those critical keywords that need to be used in press releases, blogs, text ads, classified ads, and in a standard website (.com).  Other software programs were also used to verify what the free tools already provided – that keywords are absolutely essential to getting your business to the top of the search engines.

Part 2 was taught by Ms. Carter.  This phase of the workshop consisted of each participant creating an effective, professional website by using the high ranking keywords they discovered during Part 1.  The free websites were created using Google Blogger.  Ms. Carter taught how anyone can load pictures, text ads, videos and back links to their own website – without spending a dime on hosting or web designer fees.

This workshop was based on Susan’s new eBook “Website On A Shoestring” that just arrived on the market.  This eBook contains not only step by step instructions it is also packed full of screen shots of the blogger process to create a free website.  During class, participants were able to create a new website by following exactly the instructions contained in her new eBook.  This, of course, was met with great applause because it was shown to be such an easy process to do if you have the right information.
