Tanzore Announces the Dates of its Third Annual Red Carpet Event: Diwali The Festival of Lights

PRLog (Press Release) - Sep. 23, 2009 - Los Angeles, CA  – Tanzore Restaurant announced today the dates of its third annual red carpet event Diwali also known as The Festival of Lights. This Beverly Hills favorite will be held October 14 – 17, 2009. Tanzore will offer a variety of nightly entertainment, booths with fashion and jewelry, henna artists, nightly raffles, and a special festival menu. All proceeds from the event will benefit Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.

Celebrated worldwide, Diwali, also known as the Indian New Year, celebrates the triumph of good over evil. Numerous myths and stories are associated with Diwali. Many of these myths center around the defeat of evil demons as well as the exoneration and freedom of the wrongfully oppressed. Diwali celebrates religious elevation, enlightenment, new beginnings, and good fortune.  
“Our goal at Tanzore in celebrating Diwali is to bring cultural awareness to the community in a unique and fun way,” Nikki Sood, owner of Tanzore said.
Chef Paul at Tanzore creates a special three course festival menu with a variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes to choose from. Reservations are being accepted for dinner at the pre-fixe price of $49.00 plus tax and service charge per person. This price includes entry to the exhibits, entertainment, and dinner.
