“People who are experiencing economic hardship and even lost their health insurance need help,” says Matthew Haley, Clinic Director. “We want to reach out to those who might be in pain or might suffer from an injury.” Free Physical Therapy Evaluations will be on Friday, October 2 for those who have recently lost health care coverage, those waiting for new coverage to become active, and those currently experiencing economic hardship.
After their evaluation, clients can return to the clinic for up to four free 30-minute Physical Therapy treatments. Free sessions can be scheduled on Fridays through October 30, between the hours of 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. During their course of treatment, clients will also have access to “TxXchange,”
A Physical Therapy referral from patients’ primary care physician is required in order to set up the free evaluation.
“This is a great opportunity for people in pain or discomfort to benefit from world-class Physical Therapy,” Mr. Haley continues, citing the recent survey he conducted in which 100% of Greendale Physical Therapy Clients stated they were “Very Satisfied” with treatment they received. “We think a lot of people can benefit from this free clinic. I hope people will spread the word to those in need.”
