When: Saturday October 3, 2009, Doors open at 6pm and Fashion show begins at 8pm

Why: In the fast paced world we live in we need constant reminders of what we can do to take care of it. This event is not just another “Go Green” event. This is to change the creative minds of our consumers. With each companies support and involvement we want to take a creative stand on taking charge of our own garbage. Garbage Gone Glam will expose the fashion industry at its best – high end clothing stores and their organic cottons and eco friendly lifestyle, natural food markets, electronic paperless ways of life to save a tree and overall spread awareness that our world will not last forever if we don’t take care of it.

Be part of something great. Something new. Something huge. We expect our viewers to be fabulous, just like all of our companies who have teamed up to do this event. Take a stand and make small changes to better our environment. Spreading creativity is contagious let’s get it started.

Kristen Alyce Bio
Artist, photographer, & designer Kristen Alyce set sights on South Florida from her hometown of Butler, New Jersey in 2005. Since then, she has exploded on the style scene, having the opportunity to work under New York Couture Fashion Week producer, Andres Aquino. Following in Aquino’s footsteps, Alyce has produced similar eclectic art events in South Florida, New York, and New Jersey. Such benefits include: the World Vision Benefit (2005), Lord & Taylor Fashion Show (2007), Food & Fun Fashion Show (featured in Portada Magazine 2008), Make a Wish Benefit (2008), and Garbage Gone Glam (2009).

Recently, Alyce has embarked on a line of clothing entirely composed of recycled materials. This line is one of the featured new looks at the Garbage Gone Glam event, being held on October 3rd 2009. One hundred percent of the proceeds for the show will be given to Resource Depot., a charity that creates and distributes recycled products to within the community .
