Audimute, a leader in cutting-edge acoustic technology, is proud to introduce eco-C-tex, its latest in environmentally conscious innovations.  Made from a blend of cotton and cellulose, eco-C-tex proves to be the GREENEST acoustics absorption material in today’s marketplace and a better alternative to traditional fiberglass and synthetic acoustic panels. By converting recycled paper into cellulose fibers, paper is kept out of landfills where it has the potential to pollute the environment. In addition, the eco-C-tex manufacturing process is eco-friendly, using only 1/10 of the energy required to produce fiberglass and 1/40 of the energy used to create foam.

“We applaud the green initiatives of builders, designers, and architects,” says Mitch Zlotnik, president of Audimute.  “Audimute will continue to be a leader in the development of sustainable acoustic products that look as good as they sound.”

Audimute Expands Green Product Line

Eco-C-tex is not the first Audimute product to make use of sustainable materials.  The company’s commitment to environmental responsibility began with its introduction of Peacemaker Sound Insulation, a rubber acoustic barrier that keeps recycled tires out of already overfilling landfills.  By eventually incorporating eco-C-tex into all of its acoustics absorption products, Audimute hopes to solidify its position as the leader in environmentally conscious innovation.

“Our new, natural based technology will be an integral part of future acoustic product development,” says Zlotnik.  “Our commitment to environmental responsibility will continue to be strengthened as we find new avenues to promote green acoustic solutions for our clients.”

Acoustic Panels Now Featuring eco-C-tex

Audimute Acoustic Panels are the first product to feature this new acoustics absorption technology.  Unlike cotton based-absorption technology, eco-C-tex allows for greater versatility for use in a wider range of applications, including home theaters, studios, apartments, offices and more.  Available in a wide range of colors, shapes, sizes, images, and other custom options, Audimute Acoustic Panels not only provide outstanding acoustical performance, but are the perfect choice for adding an artistic touch to any room décor.
