Douglasville, GA - NG Turf donated pallets of bermudagrass to the Beulah Bulldogs’ football field at Deer Lick Park in Douglasville. “We need the field in good condition for our upcoming season,” said Chris Switzer, real estate investor and assistant coach for the Bulldogs.
Douglas County stopped maintaining the field some time ago and the coaches realized they had to do something. Switzer said the middle of the field was barren and had no turf, which is unsafe to play and practice football. “As coaches, we wanted the kids to have a clean, green field to play on and NG Turf helped the Bulldogs accomplish that,” Switzer said.
The Beulah Bulldogs team is made up of young boys who range in ages from five to twelve. They are kicking off their 2009 season by hosting the First Annual Sweetwater Classic Charity Event on August 8th.
