SAN FRANCISCO Sept 20 In the tightest job market in 70 years, estimates are that there are six job seekers for every available job. As a result, time (and benefits) are running out for many of the nation’s 15 million unemployed.

Now job seekers must understand new tools like social internet media, behavioral interviewing and personal branding. It’s not your father’s job market.”
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, job-seekers face 9.7% unemployment rate and longer job search.

Speakers include Dr. Lynn Joseph, creator of The Job-Loss Recovery Program, honored by the U.S. Health and Human Services Department for its effectiveness. Nearly two-thirds (62%) of job-seekers found work after two months compared with 12% for a control group that did not follow the program.
Grammy-nominated musician Freddie Ravel, a keyboardist in Carlos Santana’s band, will present his innovative Tune Up to Success!, which uses music to empower successful. He will also perform at the event.
