ALBANY: BirthWays celebrates 33 years of nurturing and supporting families by hosting The East Bay Baby & Kids Fair, an educational and retail event for the entire community. BirthWays will host the East Bay Baby & Kids Fair at Albany Veteran's Memorial Building,1325 Portland Avenue, Albany, CA, on November 7, 2009 from 11am – 3pm.
Sponsored by Whole Foods Market and Yelp.com this free event will include 9 workshops from local area businesses on topics such as vaccinations, cloth diapering, fatherhood, breastfeeding, childhood tantrums and alternatives to inductions to name a few. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet pregnancy and parenting representatives including midwives, lactation consultants, childbirth educators, pediatricians, family therapists, photographers, doulas, sleep consultants, parenting experts, massage therapists, chiropractors, baby and kids retail stores and more. There will be free face painting and henna art all day.
