New Jersey's Sickles Market Kicks Off New Specialty Food Line - Rogers Collection

Sickles Market is pleased to announce a new specialty food product line – Rogers Collection. The Rogers Collection is an important link between authentic quality, Mediterranean family-run producers from Spain, Italy and Tunisia to the American table. From specially aged Parmigiano Reggiano, Tuscan hams, olive oils and vinegars to exotic Tunisian condiments, the products included in Rogers Collection define what is truly special about specialty food products.
To kick-off the new product line there will a special demonstration for the general public conducted by members of the Mahjoub Family Estate from Tunisia – one of the Rogers Collection producers - on Thursday, October, 29, 2009 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at Sickles Market, Little Silver, NJ.  http://www.sicklesmarket.com/leftnav/welcome/Directions/i... The Mahjoub family operation is the quintessential example of the Rogers Collection family-run specialty food producers who are known for their commitment to traditional methods and their respect for the land, their craft and their products. Tunisia is a small North African country south of Spain, France and Italy on the Mediterranean Sea. Members of the Mahjoub family will hold free tastings of their carefully grown, produced and packaged products called Les Moulins Mahjoub, which includes olives, sun-dried tomatoes, harissa, olive oils and other Mediterranean condiments. They will also demonstrate how to use the products, which can be eaten as they are or used as choice ingredients with local products from Sickles Market.
