Local Hollywood Effect Companies Partner with Redford, MI Jaycees to create Haunted House

ReelActionFX, a stunt and weapons provider to the movie industry and the Helton Brothers, a special effects firm with a long Hollywood connection are building the Psych Ward theme Haunted House (address) on Telegraph Rd in Redford Township. “The building is perfect for this use” said Pat Potochick president of ReelActionFX “with multiple floors, rooms and long hallways there should be a heart stopping surprise around every corner.”  

“This is going to be an outstanding display of Hollywood know how and presentation” said Robert Mockeridge, Management VP of the Redford Twp Jaycees. “The Helton Brothers have created so many authentic displays for clients like Universal Studios Florida and Black Sabbath’s stage tour set for the “Heaven and Hell” tour. Add to that the stunt and prop experience of ReelActionFX whose work includes Batman and Robin, Transformers and the soon to be released Irishman and we’re going to have an amazing haunted house to raise money for needy families.”

The Jaycees “Psych Ward” begins on Oct 3rd and runs throughout the month of October.
