SANTA CLARA, Calif.--E-Book Systems, the leader in Digital Flip® online e-publishing technology, announces new enhancements to its FlipCity PDF-to-FlipBook web conversion service.
With this feature enhancement, FlipCity users can download the converted FlipBook from PDF to his own computer instead of leaving it to FlipCity to host. User can then distribute the downloaded FlipBook through offline means (e.g. CDs) or host it online on any other web servers of his choosing.

“It’s truly a fast, reliable and good new service,” said Peter Wabbel, a satisfied customer of FlipCity.
Once the FlipBook is created, it can be easily viewed by the FlipViewer® Xpress viewer. This is a Flash-based viewer which can run on multiple operating system platforms including Windows and Mac. FlipViewer® Xpress conveys the FlipBook in a 3-D page flipping interface, where pages are displayed like those in a real book. While a reader is reading the current page, the next few pages will be streamed into his computer. Page streaming allows pages to be available for immediate reading, without having to wait for the entire book to be downloaded first. Staying true to the book paradigm, the displayed thickness of the FlipBook in FlipViewer® Xpress is indicative of the number of pages inside, allowing readers to "thumb" through it with the mouse.
FlipCity enables users to quickly create flipping digital publications out of their PDFs and with digital publications, users can reach out to more readers via the Internet globally in addition to saving printing cost. For more information, contact E-Book Systems via email at flipcityadmin@
