BrowseAloud is a product which makes websites talk. It reads web pages aloud and highlights each word as it is spoken. This combination is a great help for those with literacy difficulties, such as dyslexia who find reading online text difficult – it is reported that over 3 million Americans have dyslexia. BrowseAloud also aids those with mild visual impairments or where English is spoken as a second language.
Under the terms of the agreement, this software will be available to CivicPlus clients for use on their websites. Visitors to a client site utilizing this service would then click on the BrowseAloud icon and follow the easy steps to install the software.

Users can personalize colors, text size, speed and type of voice the product to suit their individual needs.
