BrowseAloud is a product which makes websites talk. It reads web pages aloud and highlights each word as it is spoken. This combination is a great help for those with literacy difficulties, such as dyslexia who find reading online text difficult – it is reported that over 3 million Americans have dyslexia. Under the terms of the agreement, this software will be available to CivicPlus clients for use on their websites. Visitors to a client site utilizing this service would then click on the BrowseAloud icon and follow the easy steps to install the software.
