Westview’s participation at Independence Station will primarily be in the window walls, where wood structures and a high-performance glazing system will enhance the building’s beauty and maintain energy efficiency. Insulated glass units will minimize heat gain and loss, reduce noise, and virtually eliminate the fading effects of ultra-violet light. Certified sustainable wood structures will bring the warmth of wood to the interior environment with minimal environmental impact.
“Westview Products not only provides an environmentally friendly and beautiful design element for Independence Station, but their proximity to the project as fellow Oregonians also allows us to enjoy the energy saving benefits of trading locally,” said Steven Ribeiro, Developer at Aldeia, LLC.
