Brown for Atlanta is pleased to announce an endorsement for Dr. Tiffany Brown from the Women Under Forty Political Action Committee (WUFPAC).
WUFPAC, a nonpartisan political action committee, supports women forty years of age and under running for state and federal public office. The organization seeks to supports candidates who are committed to empowering young women to succeed. The decision to partner with Dr Tiffany Brown was based upon votes from the Board of Directors.
“As an alumna of Spelman College and as a small business owner, I have always had a keen interest in issues that affect women. When women develop and cultivate leadership skills, they gain power to actively participate in the reconstruction of their communities and to build civil society. I would love to thank the Women Under Forty Political Action Committee for this endorsement. I am eternally grateful and humbled by the faith that they have placed in me ~Tiffany Brown
Dr. Brown believes that young women need to see that they can run for public office at any age and she combats the idea that they must wait until they get a little order. “The time is now to impact change. This is a young women’s political movement now” says Dr. Brown as she cites pioneers like Hillary Clinton and Nancy Pelosi as foundation layers for the movement.
The Brown for Atlanta Campaign is excited about the different partnerships Dr. Brown continues to secure and looks forward to the ones to come. As the mayor of Atlanta, she will advocate for improvements in economic development, housing, accountability, and public safety for the people of Atlanta. Please continue to invest in Dr. Brown as she promises as mayor to invest in you and together we can reinvest in Atlanta.
