(St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands) - Hollywood star, Brian White, has partnered with NFL Super Bowl Champion and Youth Lifeline America’s Founder, Roland Williams, to announce that the Helping Hands Celebrity Weekend will take place on July 22-25, 2010 in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. This dynamic event will be an annual charity fundraiser and recognize prominent members in the entertainment community, executives, and politicians. Helping Hands Celebrity Weekend will kick off its first press conference on Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at 3PM (EST) at the Frenchman’s Reef & Morning Star Marriott Resort.
The Helping Hands Celebrity Weekend is a unique four-day event where celebrities and executives will compete head-to-head in golf, poker, and basketball to benefit their favorite charitable causes. When not competing, this weekend will feature exclusive VIP parties and community outreach on the island and beyond. Several supporters from Hollywood and the U.S. Virgin Islands have come forward to support the program including; Department of Tourism Commissioner Beverly Nicolson Doty, Senator Adlah ‘Foncie’ Donastorg, Forrest Whitaker, Taraji P.
