On Thursday, the CEO attended the star-studded BMI Urban Music Awards at New York City’s Lincoln Center. Flash introduced new artists, Biancha and Akilah Brock, on the red carpet Thursday night as national media interviewed both the CEO and the label’s Urban Pop phenom, Biancha. Biancha was a stunning vision in her black ensemble, styled by Arlene Pitterson. Flash appeared in Jay-Z’s latest fashion endeavor, the Artful Dodger line.
Flash was happy to enlighten media to the details of both Akilah Brock and Biancha’s upcoming projects. Flash also revitalized his relationships with super-producer, Rodney “Darkchild”
The BMI Urban Music Awards are an annual awards ceremony to celebrate the industry’s most successful publishers, producers and artists that are members of BMI. This year’s festivities included performances by Souljah Boy, T-Pain, Keri Hilson, Rick Ross, Bobby Valentino, Plies and a star-studded tribute to George Clinton featuring Gnarles Barkley and Janelle Monae.
