Alma Latina Kids
Alma Latina kids won 1st place in 3 divisions at the first annual kids salsa competion at Stevens Steakhouse over Labor Day weekend.
Alma is bringing her team to Orange County!!!! They are looking for talented and dedicated kids ( ages 4 to 17) to start a new Alma Latina Kids team in Orange County. There will be a 3 hr workshop on Oct 4th and Audtions to follow.
This is a stepping stone in the salsa world for kids. At this time there are so few kids salsa lessons and teams that the new generation of dancers is at risk. Some other successful teams of salsa kids are:
*Latino Explosion - LA
*Salsa Caliente - Oxnard
Starting October 4th, Alma will be taking over choreography of Latino Explosion until the return of the director whom is on an extended leave. This is a fabulous opportunity for some of the Orange County kids to become involved in serious dancing.
