and the Center for Latin-American Strategic Studies – Ceelat, with the sponsorship of the Agencia Nacional de Hidrocarburos (ANH) (the hydrocarbon agency of Colombia) entered an agreement to translate the book “Energy Cooperation in the Western Hemisphere: Benefits and Impediments”
edited by Sidney Weintraub, with Annette Hester and Veronica R. Prado of the Center for Strategic and International Studies - CSIS of Washington D.C.
The book to be published in Spanish by the end of the year has been updated by Sidney Weintraub (CSIS- Simon Chair in Political Economy) commenting on the latest events in petroleum economics and policies in the hemisphere, also has a foreword by Luis Alberto Moreno, the current President of the Inter-American Development Bank.
The book promises to create an impact for its keen and sound analysis of the origins of the current petroleum situation, placing the current events into a historical context. It also has predications for petroleum sector for the year 2020.
