The Landings
Pennsylvania Leadership Charter School, a public cyber charter school, has moved its Western Regional Office due to enrollment growth. The former locations, on Hite Road and in the Pittsburgh Mills, have merged into a larger office building known as the Landings. The Landings is located in Allegheny County, conveniently off of the Pennsylvania Turnpike Exit 48 and Route 28 Exit 11 in Harmarville.
PA Leadership Charter School's Western Regional Office provides extensive services to the local student body. The increased office space allows for additional student orientations, extra student-tutoring opportunities, a production studio for teachers to create video lessons, and other on-site programs. The new office also provides much-needed room for the newly hired staff and faculty members that serve the school's families. Lynn Rodden, Western Regional Director, shares, “We are thrilled with the new location. With the momentum of the new school year, it is so exciting for our staff to be together under the same roof for the first time. We were literally bursting at the seams at our other locations. The Landings gives us room to grow and will equip us to better serve our families and the local community.”
The office is very well-appointed due in large part to the generosity of the landlord, Kratsa Properties, in recognition of the valuable service PA Leadership provides to local families needing school choice. “We are very grateful as we could never have afforded to purchase this furniture apart from the generosity of the Kratsa's. It is definitely the icing on the cake at our new location and creates a very warm and welcoming environment for our families, staff, and faculty.”
Information about an Open House will be released soon. Office hours at the Landings are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
