The French Trade Office of Chicago is hosting a French Pavilion to showcase four manufacturers and developers of innovative products at the National Manufacturing Week, in Rosemont, Ill, from September 22 to 24, 2009, at booth 735. These four companies represent a range of products from gauges and sensors for metrology to brazing fluxes, precision bushings and washers.
Com-Ten Industries
Com-Ten Industries manufactures high-quality tensile, compression and torque test systems that are ideal for most industrial testing needs in production or in labs. Com-Ten has a complete range of products, including force gauges, torques gauges and test stand. They are now introducing the Centor Star Touch, a new force gauge, designed for manufacturing environments. With the combined features of functionality, flexibility and simplicity, the Centor Star Touch is the solution for more sophisticated and economically feasible testing solutions for the factory floor.
STTS
STTS produces any type of brazing fluxes and solder/brazing pastes in the following categories:
- Aluminum brazing
- Copper and brass soldering
- Silver brazing of copper alloys, nickel based, stainless steels, hard metals, carbides and precious metals
Under the influence of the European REACH Directive, STTS has recently developed "Flux-it," a revolutionary range of silver brazing fluxes, free of boric acid and soluble borates.
STTS is certified ISO 9001 and also ISO 14001 for its environmental management system. The current production equipment enables the factory to announce a production capacity of 10,000 tons a year.
SENSeOR
Located in Sophia Antipolis/Nice and Besançon, France, SENSeOR is a leader of the SAW (Surface Acoustic Wave)-based sensing market. SENSeOR produces a wide range of products delivering high-ROI solutions either for end-users or system integrators and OEMs, in the field of temperature, stress, pressure and chemical sensing.
The company is launching three new products:
- SED-100 and SED-120, two thermowell-packaged wireless temperature probes, dedicated to wireless temperature measurements inside critical equipments or at the heart of industrial processes. They also comply with well-established standards within the industry.
- SA-D003, a novel system to monitor surface temperature.
SENSeOR is also strongly involved in several customer projects with French world-leading companies in the field of energy, industry and transportation, as well as in the medical sector.
CBP
CBP – Coussinets et Bagues de Précision - located in Sartrouville, France, near Paris, is specialized in the production of plain bearings, sliding bushings, thrust washers and slide guides on a steel base covered with sintered bronze or white metal. These main products are available in ranges from 10 mm to 400 mm in steel, stainless steel or bronze, with one or more metallic alloys or synthetic layers (as PTFE for PYDANE® parts) realized in strict respect of even the smallest tolerances.
The optimized industrial organization of CBP guarantees a constant quality that responds to constraints imposed by the most demanding customers. CBP has its own range of products but is also able to answer each customer’s specific demands in terms of quality and shapes. It supplies companies in the foreground of industrial sectors including automotive, railways, maritime, military, public works, etc. The know-how, the flexibility, the ISO 9001 (2006) certification (ISO 14001 as well as TS 16949 are in progress) allowed CBP to open major markets throughout the world.
