Kia Shine holding BMI Awards
Universal Recording artist, Michael Barber, who is currently in the studio writing his new album with Akon, has reported in his daily blog and on the Examiner that Kia Shine did in fact write "Best I Ever Had". The Drake single has sold over 1 million copies.
Michael Barber a Universal Records artist signed through Hoopla Media Group, reported the news Thursday morning after a studio session at Big Shot Studios in Orlando, Florida. The studio has over 79 platinum records and over 100 gold records recorded in it.
Michael who is considered by many to be a very slept on MC, reported the news, stating that Drake was just a Hip Hop puppet. Michael says he considers Kia Shine not only a friend, but "a role model".
"He is an ideal business man in todays music industry, writing, clothing, videos, he does it all"
Drake has yet to respond to the now fact, as Billboard Magazine is also reporting that Kia Shine was the writer of "Best I Ever Had"
