The latest in Re:locate’s series of networking forum events, Winning Strategies: adding value to relocation, to be held at the Institute of Directors on 3 November from 9 am to 4 pm, provides the perfect opportunity for HR professionals to interact with leading experts and HR colleagues dealing creatively with a range of relocation challenges in the current economic climate.
The morning’s programme will look at how companies are responding to the challenges of the recession and preparing for the upturn, with illuminating case studies from award-winning HR professionals from Ernst & Young, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Jones Lang LaSalle on designing a global mobility framework and how a small team with focus and imagination can make a big impact on the business case. With the cost of assignments under continual scrutiny, one of the sessions will look at how to assess and improve return on investment. Following the presentations, facilitated roundtable discussions on some of relocation’s burning issues will encourage delegates to share knowledge and take new ideas back to the office.
After lunch, the official launch of the Re:locate Awards 2009/10 will be followed by a keynote speech from author, consultant and managing director of Great Companies Consulting Judith Leary-Joyce, who will explain the psychology of success and show how delegates can make serial achievement an integral part of their organisations.
